Garments are made from fabric, which is the material used to make them. As one of the three elements of a garment, fabric not only interprets the style and characteristics of the garment but also directly influences the color and shape of the garment. It presents itself as noble and perfect, soft to the touch.

In the world of clothing, there is a wide variety of fabrics, which are changing day by day. But on the whole, high-quality, high-grade fabrics are most comfortable to wear, sweat-absorbent and breathable, draping and bracing, visually noble, soft to the touch, and so on.

Modern clothing worn on formal social occasions is mostly made from high-quality blended fabrics. And pure cotton, pure wool, pure silk, pure linen, and other natural fabrics because of easy wrinkle, easy deformation, and other natural fabric shortcomings, have been reduced to general fabric, less as high-grade clothing with the material. Knitted fabrics: underwear and sports series of clothing for garments, but due to the development of technology, knitted materials also developed towards thick and stiff, gradually making knitted underwear externalized and knitted fabrics woven practices, becoming a supplement to outerwear.

Ecological clothing and green clothing concept is the same, but also slightly different: "green clothing" is mainly green textiles and ecological clothing. Internationally developed and marketed "green textiles" generally have a variety of functions such as anti-odor, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, anti-UV, anti-radiation, and moisture enhancement. These products are still in their infancy in China and have been launched mainly in underwear. Still, because these textiles have specific functions that are beneficial to human health, they are more popular with consumers.

From the above, we can see that the design of clothing whether from the fabric or style, not only considers comfort, and fashion, but more importantly, combined with environmental protection, low-carbon environmental protection is the future trend of clothing fabrics.
